Tow Tide supplies towbars, towing electrics, towballs and drop plates, caravan motor movers, stabilisers, jockey wheels and corner steadies, caravan power packages, caravan and trailer security, extension towing mirrors, trailer lighting, complete trailer packages and spares. We are based in Tydd Gote, near Wisbech, and we ship across the UK and worldwide.
Who we are
Tow Tide is run by AT AUTO & SPARES LTD, an independent towing equipment business. We are not affiliated with, appointed by or a dealer for any vehicle manufacturer. Vehicle make and model names are used only to describe which towbars, electrics and accessories fit which vehicles.
What we sell
We stock fixed flange, fixed swan neck, detachable and electrically retractable towbars, dedicated and universal towing electrics to ISO 11446 (13 pin) and 12N (7 pin), bypass relays, towballs and drop plates, and fitted towbar packages. For caravanners we carry motor movers, stabilisers, jockey wheels, corner steadies, AGM and lithium leisure batteries, solar panels, hitch locks and wheel clamps. We also supply extension towing mirrors, trailer lighting, and complete trailer packages including braked, unbraked, plant, box, livestock and motorcycle trailers, plus fleet and trade packages, spares and servicing.
Type approval and fitment
Towbars are type approved to UNECE R55 for one make, model, body shape and year range. We ask for your vehicle registration before you order so we can confirm the exact kit for your car. Dedicated wiring looms keep functions such as trailer stability assist, parking sensor cut out and bulb failure warning working as intended. Universal looms fitted with a bypass relay cost less but can lose some of those functions, and some vehicles need electronic coding to work correctly with a tow bar.
Our workshop
Supplied and fitted options are fitted at our workshop at Unit 1 Main Road, Tydd Gote, Wisbech PE13 5QD, by appointment, for UK customers only. We contact you within one working day of your order to book your vehicle in. Mobile fitting and on site fleet fitting can also be arranged by quote within the UK.
